ScrubaDub’s "One Year of Unlimited Washes Contest"
Terms and Conditions
By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to all of the terms and conditions. Each contestant who submits a text entry will automatically become a member of ScrubaDub’s Text Club. ScrubaDub may send information about future contests, promotions and special offers directly to the mobile phone used to submit the entry. To opt-out at any time text STOP561 to 89800.
1. Dates/Eligibility. The "One Year of Unlimited Washes Contest" (the "Contest") begins on January 5th, 2010 at 12:00:00 AM and ends April 25th, 2010 by 11:59:59 PM. All entries via text will be compiled within the system, in which the One Year of Unlimited Washes (the prize) will be randomly rewarded. The Contest is open to all legal U.S. residents, 21 years of age and older. Standard text messaging and data rates may apply. Void where prohibited by law. Participants are limited to one entry per cellular phone number. Employees or agents of (a) ScrubaDub and (b) KaOoga, any entity associated with the sponsorship or conduct of the Contest, as well as members of the same household of any such employee or agent, may not participate in the Contest.
2. Two (2) Ways to Enter the One Year of Unlimited Washes Giveaway:
a) Consumers will text in One of 2 keywords to 89800 from their mobile phone to be entered to the ScrubaDub One Year of Unlimited Washes Contest. The prize is randomly selected and will be awarded on or around 5/7/2010. The winner will be notified via text and/or telephone. b) To enter into the ScrubaDub One Year of Unlimited Washes Contest without sending a text message, on a 3" x 5" card, hand print your complete name, street address (no P.O. boxes), city, state, zip code, daytime telephone number with area code and/or cell phone number with area code, signature, date of birth and mail it in an envelope to: ScrubaDub c/o One Year of Unlimited Washes Contest, 172 Worcester Road, Natick, MA 01760. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by 4/15/2010 and received by 5/7/2010. Limit one (1) entry per person, and (1) entry per postmarked outer envelope.
3. Prizes. One (1) ScrubaDub Express VIP Pass. Valid for One Year of Unlimited Express Washes (for one vehicle) at any of the 15 New England ScrubaDub Car Washes. Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, substituted or redeemed for cash. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. The prize must be claimed by June 30, 2010 by 11:59:59. ScrubaDub at its own discretion may offer additional prizes chosen randomly throughout the contest period.
4. Conditions/Restrictions. By entering this contest, entrants are to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and all applicable text messaging fees. ScrubaDub is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries. Winner must produce identification satisfactory to ScrubaDub and agrees that his or her name, photograph and likeness may be used for website publicity purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and release, including a publicity release, as prepared by ScrubaDub within five (5) days after receipt and prior to receiving the prize. Winners will be responsible for payment of any taxes or fees, which result from the receipt and/or use of their prize. Anyone using fraudulent means to participate and/or win the Contest will be disqualified. In exchange for the right to participate in the Contest, each participant agrees to release and indemnify ScrubaDub and any other related entity and entities affiliated with the Contest and their respective officers, subsidiaries and employees, (the "Released Parties"), from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever, whether presently known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that arise out of the participant's participation in the Contest.
