Wickford Lanes North/South Teams

Again this year, members of the Wickford Lanes Youth Program will be competing in the 2016 North/South Challenge Matches! Again this year, we are sending two teams to this annual competition - 10 youth bowlers and their coaches will travel to Johnson’s Lanes, Hamden, CT, July 8th – 10th to compete against 24 teams of outstanding youth bowlers from Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. We look forward to this annual event each bowling season!! However, bowlers are responsible to pay their own expenses and we are asking for your help. We hope that we can count on you to take a moment and donate to our cause. For every $10 you donate, you will receive one ScrubaDub Express car wash. Please know that your donation and generosity will be greatly appreciated and all proceeds from this fundraising effort will be used to help defray fees and travel expenses for this tournament. Our Lanes Youth Program is a duckpin bowling program consisting of youth bowlers, 5 – 21 years of age, competing in an organized weekly program. Bowlers can participate in our weekly league, fall/winter and or summer program. Along with our weekly league play, our young bowlers have the opportunity to compete in various local state tournament events throughout the season as well as several national competitions. For us, our bowling season typically concludes with the North/South Challenge Matches held annually in Connecticut. Duckpin bowling is a sport for all ages and abilities!
