Math Club

Support the Kennedy Math Team compete in the Intermediate Math League of Eastern Massachusetts against other middle schools in the area, and get your car cleaned at the same time.  For every donation of only $10, you will receive a car wash voucher for Scrub a Dub car wash.  Half of all donations will go to the math team and helping the members get to the 5 area competitions throughout the school year.  Feel good about getting your car cleaned, knowing you are not only helping your car, but you are helping a middle school student as well!

Students who attend weekly math club meetings work on extending and challenging their mathematics skills by working on problem solving and real world mathematical applications. Some of the members of the math club make up the Kennedy math team, and the team participates in the Eastern Math League of Eastern Massachusetts, IMLEM for short. This math league has five competitions throughout the school year, which further challenges students to extend the mathematics they work on. The locations of the math competitions are spread over five different towns, and students need transportation to and from these competition locations.  Thank you again for helping us be able to compete!
